To provide more detailed, evidence-based information on each of the 14 recommendations, and to facilitate their dissemination, a series of supporting Knowledge Translation Outputs have been developed by experts from the European Code Against Cancer, 5^th edition (ECAC5) Working Groups.

Fact Sheets aim to provide members of the general population and health professionals, who are interested in learning more about a recommendation, with an explanation of why the recommendation was included in ECAC5 and what anyone can do to implement it in everyday life.

Policy Briefs target policy-makers and/or key decision-makers, providing them with key messages about the evidence-base supporting the policy recommendation, the importance of acting on the recommendation, and offer guidance on how to implement the recommended policies.

Both sets of documents provide information on the co-benefits for the prevention of other non-communicable diseases (NCDs) with similar risk factors to cancer and opportunities for health promotion.
