To provide advice and guidance for people and organizations wishing to promote the European Code Against Cancer, 5^th edition (ECAC5), a Dissemination Report has been prepared with contributions from experts in the Advocacy Group and the Communication and Health Literacy Working Group of the ECAC5 project. This report provides background information to help promoters understand and better communicate ECAC5. It also contains information on key terms used in ECAC5, which has been used to assist in the translation of the recommendations and other outputs. A series of materials in the form of Digital Assets (including icons used for the ECAC5 recommendations, templates for social media promotion, and video explainers) have been produced for free use by promoters of ECAC5. In addition, a Partnership Declaration has been developed to show the commitment of organizations and stakeholders to promoting ECAC5. By endorsing the declaration, partners demonstrate their support for the dissemination and implementation of ECAC5, thereby helping to foster collaboration to reduce the cancer burden through evidence-based prevention.
